Dey’s Plaza, Downtown Syracuse - To Better Serve Expanding Clientele
 
Syracuse, NY (27 OCT 11) – BTI The Travel Consultants has moved to a new location at 124 East Jefferson Street, Syracuse, to better serve its expanding clientele. The company’s Ribbon Cutting Celebration will not only unveil their new facility, but promotes their success in becoming one of Upstate New York’s leading Corporate and Leisure travel management companies over the past 23 years.

The Ribbon Cutting and Press Conference is scheduled for November 17th at 11:00am at 124 East Jefferson Street. The event will include office tours, and a luncheon buffet will immediately follow the Ribbon Cutting.

Citing comments from a speech given by President Obama recently that suggested most people today book their own travel online, versus with an agency, President and Founder of BTI The Travel Consultants, Lou Lemos, wants everyone to know that rumors of the death of the travel agency have been highly exaggerated.

“BTI has found exactly the opposite to be true. Our clients value the services we offer, which leverage the expertise of our staff, the buying power of our associations, and comprehensive travel management services,” says Lemos. “It allows clients to delegate all their travel details to us, with complete confidence in our ability to control budgets, manage risk and negotiate value added amenities.”

Proof is in the form of a growing client list, for Corporate, Group and Leisure travel. BTI The Travel Consultants has grown from its original two employees to 29 employees currently and they handle arrangements for over 15,000 travelers a year.

“The face of the travel industry has changed dramatically over the past 20 years, there’s no question about that,” says Lemos. “But we have changed and adapted with it and we are thriving. That’s what we are celebrating and that is what we want to share with the Greater Syracuse community.”
