BABY SIGNS® WITH MRS. CINCOTTA ANNOUNCES GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION
Media & Community Welcome to Attend Event on Thursday, September 8th, in Shoppingtown Mall
 
Syracuse, NY (25 AUG 11) – The only one of its kind, Baby Signs® with Mrs. Cincotta is ready to welcome the community into its permanent classroom location at Shoppingtown Mall (Community Wing), with a Grand Opening event on Thursday September 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 11:30 a.m. followed by activities such as story time, for parents and children interested in learning more about the Baby Signs® program.

Sarah Cincotta, owner of Baby Signs® with Mrs. Cincotta combined two passions when she opened her business – her love of the Deaf community and being an early childhood educator.

“I believe there is so much light and life in babies and small children,” says Mrs. Cincotta. “If we can reach out and find our way into their world, I believe there is so much we can learn and share with each other.”

The Baby Signs® Program teaches hearing babies to “talk” before they can talk, so that parents and their babies can begin communicating more easily and effectively at an earlier age. More than 20 years of research has proven that programs like Baby Signs® enhance a child’s communications skills, cognitive, and social development.

In addition to being a Certified Independent Instructor with Baby Signs®, Mrs. Cincotta received an Associates of Science degree from RIT/NTID in American Sign Language to English Interpreting and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences with an Education Concentration from Ashford University.

Baby Signs with Mrs. Cincotta offers programs that start with a one-time Introductory Workshop, continuing into a 6-week Sign, Say, & Play® class for parents and babies. Additional classes include More Sign, Say, & Play® series of classes with 36 new signs taught in the key areas of feelings, outside, safety, farm, and zoo, as well as one-hour classes such as Our Rainbow World and Under the Sea.
